Minutes of the Meeting held on 23rd April 2009 in the Mackenzie Hall, Brockweir

Present: Cllr. Mrs. Harris (Chairperson), Cllr. Ms. Endersby (Vice Chair), Cllr. Mr. Wilson, Cllr. Mrs. Mayo, Cllr. Mr. Stott, Cllr. Mr. Summers and the Parish Clerk.

1380. Apologies for Absence

There were no apologies received.

1381. Declaration of Interest

There were no declarations announced.

1382. Letter re FHE22 Extinguishment September 2008

It was agreed that the Parish Clerk would e-mail the Councillor’s to inform them that a planning application was being sent around and then send it in a box on it’s own. The Councillor’s agreed to carefully study the ‘Parish Council Procedure for Correspondence Distribution & Agenda Preparation’ document and this will be an agenda item at the next meeting as it will need to be formally adopted as part of Standing Orders.

1383. Minutes Hewelsfield and Brockweir Parish Council Meeting 2nd December 2008

Cllr. Wilson proposed the resolution that minute no. 1322.1 of the Parish Council Meeting of 2nd December 2008 be amended to show that the results of the vote should read “1 councillor objecting, 3 approving and 1 abstained” and Cllr. Stott seconded the proposal. Cllr. Harris amended the minutes.

1384. Hewelsfield and Brockweir Parish Council Meeting – 7th April 2009

The Parish Clerk agreed to amend the draft minutes no. 1366 and 1367.1 of the Parish Council Meeting of 7th April 2009 to show “people” rather than “parishioners” before the next meeting.

1385. Code of Conduct

Cllr. Harris checked that all the Councillors had read and understood the Code of Conduct.

1386. Standing Orders

Cllr. Harris checked that all the Councillors had read and understood the Standing Orders.
